Typography

Headings, body copy & lists

Montserrat headings, Lato body — the type scale every block is built on.

Lede paragraph: one sentence that says what the section is about, in a lighter grey so the heading still leads.

Body copy is 16px on a 1.55 line height. Links look like this dark-gold link, and bold is used for names and numbers only, so it keeps its weight. Keep paragraphs under about 68 characters wide.

List items carry a small yellow dot instead of a bullet
Two lines wrap cleanly under the text, not under the dot

Small text for captions, footnotes and form help — 14px, muted grey.

What are the prerequisites to become a NYS DMV Certified Examiner?

You must hold a valid CDL with P and S endorsements and have at least two years of driving experience.

Do I need my own email address to register?

Yes — each registrant needs a unique email address so we can send confirmations and course materials.

What happens if a session is full?

You can join the waiting list; we will email you as soon as a seat opens.

Two-column row

Rows can be 12, 6 | 6, 4 | 4 | 4, 8 | 4 or 4 | 8; blocks stack inside each column.

This column holds a heading and a text block; the left column holds an image. Change a row's layout later from Row settings — blocks in removed columns move to the last column.

Three equal columns (4 | 4 | 4). Each column can hold any blocks.

They drop to a single column on phones automatically.

Column three

Use a light or dark band on the row to set the section apart.
